This article discusses the Oracle Certification track that pertains to individuals who want to pursue a career in database administration.
There are three credentials that can be obtained in this track.
Oracle Certified Associate
Oracle Certified Professional
Oracle Certified Master
The Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) credential is obtained by successfully completing two Oracle certification exams:
• An exam that tests your knowledge on Structured Query Language (SQL)
The exams that you can take to complete this exam are:

• An exam that tests you knowledge on Basic Database Administration

The Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) credential is obtained by successfully completing:
• Successfully becoming an OCA.
• Completing one of the approved instructor-led online or in-class courses
• An exam that tests your knowledge on more Complex database administration

• Completing a Course Submission Form that validates the completion of your course with Oracle University/An approved partner.
The Oracle Certified Master (OCM) credential is obtained by successfully completing:
• Successfully becoming an OCP
• Completing two advanced courses from Oracle University or an approved Oracle partner. The courses can be instructor-led online or in-class courses.
• Successfully completing an Oracle Database 11g Certified Master Exam
• Completing a Course Submission form that validates the completion of the two courses you attended with Oracle University or an approved partner.
• Submit the Fulfillment Kit Request
